The Molecular Structure of Hope 2026
Amazonite watercolour paint, washing-up liquid, red watercolour, silver gouache, on graph paper.
Amazonite is a gemstone known as ‘The Stone of Hope’ and is considered to help attune us to the spiritual dimension. It is thought to promote courage, self-expression, clear communication, and generate the powerful belief of hope. Geology and watercolour made from raw amazonite is used in these meticulous watercolours to experiment in creating the visualisation of the molecular structure of Hope.
